Greek Chicken Gyros

Greek Chicken Gyros

Greek Chicken Gyros are a classic Mediterranean dish featuring tender, marinated chicken wrapped in soft pita bread and topped with fresh, vibrant ingredients. The chicken is typically marinated in a mix of olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, and a touch of yogurt, then grilled or pan-seared to perfection.

The gyros are assembled with a variety of toppings, such as crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, sliced red onions, and refreshing tzatziki sauce made from yogurt, cucumber, and dill. Some versions also include crumbled feta cheese or olives for added flavor. The result is a flavorful, balanced dish that’s both hearty and light, ideal for lunch, dinner, or a satisfying snack.
